Islam provides a view of human reality that quite good cogent, holistic and practical, always sensitive to both constant and changing needs of the human experience.

Belief in the Divine Unicity of God (Tawhid), provided it is truly experiential and not merely ideal, provides the most powerful motor of internal standard and ethical change and gives birth to language and action. The works of goodness renounce follow belief are the emotional and physical manifestations of the exigencies of Divine Unicity and sheltered values of loving-mercy, justice, equity, kindness, moderation, affection and generosity, first manifested within me, in discomfited worship and my relationships.
