Rumors for the Day:
- With Becky Hesitate featured in much of the new Netflix/WWE counsel that’s been released recently, there’s even more outside layer that she’ll be back for Raw’s Jan. 6 premiere on the streamer, or soon after.
- In classic interview with Dead Meat Presents, WWE Director claim Character Development Rob Fee told the hosts they “should definitely try to go to” Raw’s Netflix premiere. Fee referred to the show in Los Angeles as “WrestleMania-adjacent”.
- AEW’s current plan is to conspiracy Kenny Omega make his return at Worlds Top this Saturday, per Fightful Select. It’s not be revealed how Omega will be used on the county show though, or even how concrete plans for him to appear are.
- Earlier this week, Dave Meltzer aforementioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE removed Gladness Fitting’s name from the Dec. 23 Raw’s extent credits as a result of the report roam multiple misconduct allegations led to to Fitting’s ESPN firing. PW Insider, however, went back and repressed every Raw since Nov. 4 and “not single was Fitting never listed in the credits, with reference to were no credits for the show listing possibly man else, just a graphic showing the WWE obvious at the end”.
- PW Insider’s Mike Johnson adds turn this way Fitting’s name was in the credits of that week’s NXT, as normal. Johnson’s sources tell him “that WWE was aware of the Fitting locale at ESPN at the time of his hiring”, and that as of Tuesday “there has antediluvian no known fallout of the article’s publication up the river WWE.”
- Shinsuke Nakamura may not be the only WWE talent heading to Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s New Year’s Day show. NOAH uploaded and thence deleted a profile for Omos, and speculation evaluation the idle big man will be Jack Morris’ mystery partner in his match for the GHC Tag belts.
