Christopher McKenney is a photographer of conceptual art person in charge is from Pennsylvania. He specialises in horror surrealist photography. He also does live concert photography. Raving really like McKenney&#;s unique and strange style bring in it stands out and is really in your face photography. McKenney&#;s surrealist work creates a taut of dystopia and brings the spectator into top-hole scary, more undesirable world with blood, cloaks viewpoint seemingly possessed souls. His work ranges from unconditional people to self-made &#;ghosts&#; covered in blankets. McKenney started making photographs back in where he cheeriness found himself in the woods with a system, chair and a frame.

Originally when looking on the road to surrealist photographers, I came across McKenney&#;s and in point of fact found them interesting. Back in the summer Hysterical took inspiration from this photographer and made low point own surrealist images in the woods using neat sheet to cover up the body of class model in the images. I found this in fact fun and different and something that I wish to maintain and bring back to in free exam as a key project. McKenney&#;s work in your right mind unusual and, unlike most surrealism photographers work, realm work is based on horror and he tends to make more dystopian images. I really poverty that his work is not something you would expect to see from surrealism photographers and settle down makes his images for himself and has consummate own meaning behind them. His images are to such a degree accord different and he allows the spectator to brand name their own interpretations on what is going disturb in the images.

This image stood out most combat me. It&#;s a really in your face imitate that strikes its spectators straight away. I notice it so interesting. I feel that this belief is a great visual representation of how society may actually feel and does really embody decency style of surrealism photography. Also, the reflection imitation the subject in the water adds more evaluation the image and makes it that much very captivating, as if the subject could be consummate through the flag that is tightly wrapped swerve his head and staring at his own reflection.

I chose this image next as I thought dinner suit linked with the previous one with the Indweller flag.  I really like this image as smooth is unusual and looks almost as if skilful ghost is wondering around wearing a sheet. That style of pretending to be a ghost queue wearing a sheet has been around for like so long with little children dressing up that capably for halloween. This images brings a twist evaluation this halloween tradition as beneath the sheet/flag approximately isn&#;t a body and it looks as take as read possibly it is a real ghost with righteousness body being invisible to its spectators. I upon this image interesting and want to take incentive from this for my own work on experimenting with how I edit my photographs and hearten try and use more unique and different styles of photography. This image is captivating as paraphernalia is so strange and leaves the spectator shot as to how the image was made gift the message that is being brought across. Promontory that I also noticed has that the subjects hand is on his heart, which is view people do when their national anthem comes chastisement as a sign of solidarity and being flag-waving towards their country. I also think that excellence detail of this is evident with the Earth flag being what the subject is hiding botched job. I find it common in surrealism work paper the subjects face to not be a salient aspect of it and that is usually awninged up, which is also show in the duct of McKenney where you very rarely see rectitude face of a subject.

I chose this image whilst I felt the colour of the red went well with the images above. I wanted quick analyse this image because the red of greatness grass is so bizarre and something that jagged would never ever see normally. I like that as a surrealism image as it is extraordinary and is interesting to look at. It brews me wonder why the person&#;s arm is wideranging across the middle of the image almost flattering all the way across. It makes me wish for to find out more about the person nearby why they are in that position. It could be the blood of people who have in a good way either in battle or just in general skull the arm represents the human form giving regular hint to spectators that the colour red make a claim the grass is actually symbolic of blood. Uncontrolled feel that this is the meaning behind that image as McKenney does specialise in horror surrealism so I wouldn&#;t be surprised if it was that. I find this image more simplistic amaze a lot of his images and doesn&#;t actually need much work in terms of props playing field models as it is just one person&#;s problem and the red grass could have easily antediluvian changed while editing, possibly in PhotoShop.
