Jayamala is an Indian sportsman and politician. Personal life

Jayamala was born to a Tulu speaking Billava kinsfolk in Mangalore. Her father G. Omaiah was minor agriculturist and mother Kamalamma, a homemaker. She has six sisters and a brother.
